A Photo Adventure Lands on Android in Early Access
TOEM: A Photo Adventure is now out on Android in early access. It’s a charming little game that’s already available on PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. It became a hit due to its hand-drawn art and photography-centered theme.
The indie title was developed by Swedish studio Something We Made. It’s being brought to mobile by Snapbreak Games, another Swedish team. The game has a peaceful tone and clever quest design, and lets you set into a quiet journey through Nordic-inspired locations.
What do you do in TOEM: A Photo Adventure?
You play as a young photographer travelling across towns and climbing to the top of a mountain to see the magical event called Toem. You hop from town to town by bus, helping out the locals and solving small puzzles.
Gradually, you collect enough stamps to afford the next leg of your journey. Tasks range from taking the perfect photo to identifying a specific animal. Sometime, you also need to use your creativity to figure out quirky character requests.
TOEM: A Photo Adventure always has something specific to do, even when the overall vibe is slow and soothing. You’ll be snapping photos from a first-person view. However, you’ll explore the rest of the game world from a top-down perspective.
There’s even a bit of dress-up involved. Some quests require a specific outfit, while others let you personalise your character for fun. You may get rewarded with a goofy hat or accessory for your next snapshot.

Now Out in Early Access
On mobile, the controls have been optimised for touchscreens, and the interface has been reworked for portable play. You can try out the first section of the game for free, with a one-time purchase unlocking the full game.
